Among the Garden's expansive trails, special paths have been newly created that take you deep into the lush landscape for this immersive experience.

What can I expect from Astra Lumina?

Astra Lumina LA is a one mile long enchanted night walk through a botanical garden of varying terrain that guides visitors on a journey to discover the wonder of visiting stars. Through the magic of projections, lighting, and music, astral energy transforms the garden into a celestial pathway, connecting visitors to the stars and the vast world around them.

Where is the experience located?

The event will take place at South Coast Botanic Garden, 26300 Crenshaw Blvd., Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA 90274. View map.

Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?

This experience is held outdoors. If due to the weather forecast the event cannot be held, we will notify you via email at the same address linked to your Fever account. When in doubt, please remember to check your spam folder too.

How long does the experience last?

Guests usually spend 45-60 minutes at this experience. But can be longer as there us no time limit

Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?

Yes, there will be beverages and snacks available for purchase. Outside food & beverage is not permitted on the premises.

Is there parking available?

Yes, you have two parking options. If you have pre-purchased parking, proceed directly to the selected lot.

Onsite Parking (available every day): 26300 Crenshaw Blvd, Blvd, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274. When this lot reaches capacity, guests may be directed to offsite parking.

Offsite Parking (available most Saturdays and select holidays): 602 Deep Valley Drive, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274. Guests parking offsite will be required to purchase a roundtrip shuttle pass for each guest - allow 15 min for shuttle time to the venue.

Onsite Parking and Offsite Shuttle Passes are available for purchase in advance on the ticketing page and onsite on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note we do not accept cash.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee there will be extra dates. Please refer to the experience page for updated information on availability, as those are the confirmed dates and timings.

Is there a dress code?

The event takes place at an outdoor botanical garden, where the ground and pathways are narrow or uneven in some places. Situated on a natural hillside location, you will surely trek a bit of dirt or other ground elements with you. As such, we strongly recommend you are outfitted for light outdoor activity.

ACCESS

Who is required to complete a liability waiver?

All guests are required to complete a Liability Waiver upon arriving on site. Children under 18 years of age must be added to their parent’s or legal guardian’s waiver. Please show a confirmation email of completion at time of arrival.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at the venue 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. If you are parking offsite, please give yourself an additional 15 minutes to park and ride the shuttle to the venue. This is to ensure you have enough time to check-in before entering the experience.

What happens if I arrive late?

We may not be able to guarantee entry if you do not show up at the time indicated on your ticket. Please give yourself enough time to park and check in for the event, including providing proof of your completed Liability Waiver.

Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed in this event’s location, though we do welcome service animals.

Is the venue accessible?

Astra Lumina Los Angeles at South Coast Botanic Garden is accessible for guests with limited mobility, but please note that parts of the experience take place along unpaved paths that may be narrow and bumpy in some places. Limited sessions are available for guests who may require special assistance to travel the path.

What are the prohibited items at the experience?

Weapons (including off duty officers), flash photography, outside food or alcohol, light-up accessories that distract from the experience, or anything that may disturb other patrons are prohibited. All guests must pass through metal detectors and bag check before entering the experience. Bags will be subject to search before entering the experience.

Are strollers allowed?

Strollers are permitted on the trail, however be mindful that there are areas with bumpy, dirt pathways that are narrow or uneven which can make pushing a stroller difficult.

Do you offer carer tickets?

Guests requiring assistance throughout this experience are entitled to apply for one free pass for their personal assistant/support worker. Please contact us here. Once we receive this, we will provide you with a voucher that you can use to purchase your free carer ticket in the Fever app (based on availability). Please keep in mind that you will have to show the regular ticket with this carer ticket when entering the venue.

Will there be strobe lights or fog effects?

The event contains many strong lighting effects, of which some may flicker or strobe. Some exhibits also have high levels of fog effects.

Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?

This is a walkthrough experience, so there is only limited seating available along the trail.

Will restrooms be available on site?

Yes, restrooms/portable toilets are available at the event - please ask our staff on site for indications.

May I smoke or vape?

No, smoking/vaping is not allowed at this experience.

Can I take photos or record the experience?

Feel free to take photos and share them. When taking photos, please make sure not to use flash or to disturb other customers. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted. Don’t forget to share your best photos on social media and tag us @astraluminaexperience and use #astraluminaexperience.

Is there a Lost & Found?

We would recommend to ask the staff at the venue if they have found your belongings. If you cannot ask them on site, please contact us.

Is coat check available?

Unfortunately, this venue has no coat check.

Is there an age requirement?

This event is recommended for adults and children over 4 years of age. While we welcome young children to participate, please be aware the experience takes place at night and requires trekking about one mile through natural, uneven terrain.

Will there be an audio guide?

Unfortunately, this experience does not include an audio guide.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

We will have a box office on site. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. Please note we do not accept cash. You can purchase tickets in the Fever App or on the Fever website.

What are the different ticket options and prices?

Tickets are sold per person and include entry to the experience:

Adult - General Admission Adult
Child (4 to 12) - General Admission Child
Senior (65+), Student (13 to 26), or Military - General Admission Senior/Student/Military
Family Bundle - Minimum 3 ticket purchase, of which max 2 are adults discounted for families
Group Bundle - Minimum 8 ticket purchase discounted for groups

Available add-ons (entry not included):

Celestial Package - a double-walled vacuum-sealed Astra Lumina tumbler plus a beverage of choice(event entry and parking not included)
Onsite Parking Pre-Purchase Add-On (PER CAR, entry not included) - Purchase onsite parking for 1 car in advance. Proceed directly to the venue at 26300 Crenshaw Blvd. Limited spaces available.
Offsite Parking Shuttle Pass Add-On (PER GUEST, entry not included) - Purchase shuttle passes (one for each guest attending) for transportation from the offsite parking lot to the event. Proceed directly to the offsite parking lot at 602 Deep Valley Drive, Rolling Hills Estates.

Ticket prices start at $27.90 for adults and $19.90 for children.

Free entry for children under 4 years old.

Can I transfer my tickets to another person?

Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket ID number.

Do I need to print my ticket?

You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase.You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.

I can’t find my ticket. What can I do?

You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.

What happens if it rains?

The experience is a rain or shine event, so we will continue to run through most rainy conditions. Tickets may only be rescheduled if an event is canceled due to inclement weather.

Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?

This experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance. If you would like to make the change, please contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. You can also check if this option is available by consulting your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever App where, if enabled, the "Change date and/or time" button will appear. Follow the steps indicated in the link to change the date and/or time of the ticket.

Can I pay with cash at the venue?

Unfortunately, no. The venue is a cashless site.

Can I make a group booking?

Breathwork Class at Astra Lumina

What time should I arrive for the breathwork session?

Please arrive 15 minutes earlier so that you can check in, get settled, and be ready for the session at the designated start time.

What happens if I arrive late?

To ensure the best experience for everyone, late arrivals will not be admitted more than 5 minutes after the session begins.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Yes — please bring your own yoga mat or towel for comfort during the breathwork session. If you don’t have one, a limited number of mats will be available for rent or purchase on-site.

Who is leading the breathwork class?

The session is guided by Mychal V. Prieto — a yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator and holistic lifestyle coach dedicated to helping participants reconnect through mindful movement and breath.

What if I have a health condition or am pregnant?

This breathwork experience is not recommended for anyone who is pregnant, has a heart condition, or has a history of seizures.

Is there staff to help me once I arrive?

Yes — our on-site staff will be there to greet you, guide you to the breathwork space, help you get situated on your mat, and ensure you’re comfortable before the session begins.

What happens after the breathwork session ends?

After the session you’ll be invited to enjoy a complimentary tea service, and then you’ll embark on your walk through Astra Lumina.

Where does the class take place?

The breathwork class takes place immediately before your Astra Lumina experience at the same venue — please check your ticket or booking confirmation for exact details.

Can I participate if I only booked the breathwork add-on and not the full Astra Lumina walk?

The breathwork add-on is designed to precede the full Astra Lumina experience. Please ensure you also have a ticket for the main Astra Lumina walk if you plan to stay afterwards. As this is an add-on experience, attendance is valid only for the date and session indicated on your ticket. It’s not possible to join on a different day unless you change the time and date for your entire booking (both the breathwork session & Astra Lumina access). This experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance.
