The stars are descending from the night sky. Set off across mysterious grounds to discover a celestial pathway of lustrous light, cosmic visions, and astral song. Immerse yourself in illuminating encounters of lighting, projection and sound, and connect with the stars before they return to the sky above.

What can I expect from Astra Lumina?

Astra Lumina NYC is a one mile long enchanted night walk through a botanical garden of varying terrain that guides visitors on a journey to discover the wonder of visiting stars. Through the magic of projections, lighting, and music, astral energy transforms the garden into a celestial pathway, connecting visitors to the stars and the vast world around them.

The event will take place at Queen’s Botanical Garden, 42-80 Crommelin Street, Flushing, NY 11355.View map.

Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?

The experience will be held in an outdoor venue.

How long does the experience last?

Your adventure will likely last around 45-60 minutes.

Will there be strobe lights?

The event contains many strong lighting effects, of which some may flicker or strobe.

Will food or beverage be available onsite for purchase?

Yes, there will be beverages and snacks available for purchase. Outside food & beverage is not permitted on the premises.

Directions By Train
Take the no. 7 subway or Long Island Rail Road (Port Washington line) to Main Street/Flushing. Then, take the Q44SBS or Q20A/B bus, or walk eight blocks south to QBG along Main Street.

Take Q44SBS or Q20A/B from the Bronx (south-bound) or Jamaica (north-bound) to Flushing, Queens.

ACCESS

Who is required to complete a liability waiver?

All guests of Astra Lumina NYC are required to complete a Liability Waiver upon arriving on site. Children under 18 years of age must be added to their parent’s or legal guardian’s waiver. Please show confirmation email of completion at time of arrival.

Is this a kid-friendly environment?

This event is recommended for adults and children over 4 years of age. While we
welcome young children to participate, please be aware the experience takes place
at night and requires trekking about one mile through natural, uneven terrain.

Is the event pet-friendly?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Astra Lumina NYC.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at the venue 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. This is to ensure you have enough time to check-in before entering the experience.

What happens if I arrive late?

We may not be able to guarantee entry if you do not show up at the time indicated on your ticket. Please give yourself enough time to park and check in for the event, including providing email proof of your completed Liability Waiver. If you do arrive late, we may ask you to wait until we can accommodate you.

What are the prohibited items at the experience?

Weapons, bikes, scooters, flash photography, outside food or alcohol, smoking, light-
up accessories that distract from the experience, or anything that may disturb other
patrons are prohibited. All guests must pass through metal detectors and bag check
before entering the experience. Bags will be subject to search before entering the
experience.

May I smoke or vape?

No.

Is alcohol permitted at the experience?

Outside food and beverage is not permitted on the premises, but there may be alcohol and/or other beverages available for purchase onsite.

Will restrooms be available on site?

Yes. There will be accessible restrooms on site.

What do I do if I have any questions about accessibility / special accommodations?

Astra Lumina NYC at Queens Botanical Garden is accessible for guests with limited mobility, but please note that [all/part] of the experience takes place along an unpaved path that may be narrow and bumpy in some places. If you have questions about accessibility, feel free to contact us.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes, there is limited parking at the venue (VIP Lot). Parking passes are available for purchase in advance on the ticketing page and onsite on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note we do not accept cash.

I can’t find my ticket. What can I do?

You can find your ticket in the “Tickets” tab in the Fever app. It will be a QR code scanned on site upon arrival.. If you don’t have it installed, you can download it from Google Play or the Apple Store. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. Your tickets are also emailed to the email you signed up for your Fever Account with. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.

What are the official sellers for this experience?

Official tickets for Astra Lumina LA can only be purchased on Fever. Tickets are not available on any other website or ticketing platform.

Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket on the Fever App. Please contact us for additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.

What happens if it rains or snows?

Astra Lumina NYC is a rain/snow or shine event, so we will continue to run through most weather conditions. Tickets may only be rescheduled if an event is canceled due to inclement weather.

What is your refund policy?

Tickets are generally non-refundable. Ticket non-refund terms and conditions are agreed to before purchase. However, under special circumstances, you can contact us and our user support team will process your request. Make sure to include your ticket order number.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No, your contactless tickets will be validated directly in the Fever App.

Do you offer group discounts?

For group parties under 30 people you can buy directly online on the Fever Plan.
For group parties over 30 people, register here to make your reservation.

Can I pay with cash at the venue?

No, Astra Lumina NYC is a cashless site.

MISCELLANEOUS

What should I wear?

The event takes place rain or shine at an outdoor botanical garden, where the
ground and pathways are narrow or uneven in some places. Situated on a naturally
vegetative location, you will surely trek a bit of dirt or other ground elements with
you. As such, we strongly recommend you are outfitted for light outdoor activity.

Can I take photos or record the experience?

Feel free to take photos and share them. When taking photos, please make sure not to use flash or to disturb other customers. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted. Don’t forget to share your best photos on social media and tag us @AstraLuminaExperience and use #AstraLuminaNYC.

Are there any specific COVID-19 rules to attend this experience?

As official local health guidelines evolve regarding COVID-19 safety protocols, we may enforce vaccinations and/or require masks. To attend this experience mask use will not be mandatory nor will COVID-19 vaccination be required. Regardless, we highly encourage all attendees to wear masks.
